For as far back as I can remember I have wanted to travel. The possibility of getting to learn about new cultures, meet new people and discover new places is thrilling. I grew up as the child of missionaries in Guatemala and initially my only travel experience was visiting family in the United States and San Salvador, but I knew that I wanted to see more. After moving to the United States, I finally got the chance to travel further some for missionary/humanitarian purposes and some simply for the pleasure of it. I have been lucky enough to visit places such as Nicaragua, Ukraine, Malawi, Thailand, England, and I have every intention of adding many more places to that list in the future.
I love all aspects of traveling (yes, I include the unexpected), but some of my favorite things are making new friends, discovering “hidden gems” or “hole in the wall places” and let’s not forget the FOOD! I love food and enjoy getting to try new dishes and the preferred local cuisine, talk about adventure!
When the opportunity for me to work in the travel industry came up, I was so excited. I thoroughly enjoy getting to assist in our groups department. I love seeing everything come together, the excitement of the travelers and the satisfaction of knowing they will enjoy an incredible adventure. I have been lucky enough to travel with a couple of our groups to Israel and they were such wonderful experiences!
