BRB Missional Trip Disclosure and Release
This Disclosure and Release applies to the upcoming missional trip organized by Blue Ridge Broadcasting (BRB) and outlines BRB’s Christian purpose and expectations for the trip.
1. CHRISTIAN PURPOSE. BRB exists to lead as many people as possible into a personal and dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ and encourages its listeners in spiritual maturity and active service for Christ. In furtherance of this Mission, which is motivated by BRB’s Statement of Faith, BRB intends to organize a missional trip that it determines will glorify God and further its Mission and Christian religious purposes. It is critical to BRB that it presents a consistent witness to Jesus Christ to the community, both locally and internationally. It is BRB’s hope and expectation that people will recognize that we believe in Jesus Christ and that it is clear to anyone interested that we make every effort to glorify Christ through the way BRB missional trips are conducted. Missional trip participation will be considered for persons who hold beliefs and engage in practices that are consistent with BRB’s Statement of Faith and Christian religious purposes. The trip may not be used for activities deemed by BRB to be inconsistent with those standards. BRB is the final decision maker regarding participation and BRB reserves the right to refuse access, or to withdraw permission and excuse from the trip, any individual, for any reason, at any time. 2. CODE OF CONDUCT. By participating in this missional trip, you understand that your participation furthers BRB’s religious mission, and acknowledge that the display of Christian character and morals, consistent with BRB’s Statement of Faith, is critical to that mission. Thus, you agree to conduct yourself at all times while on the trip in a wholesome manner, worthy of being identified with Christ, and not do anything in word or deed that may detract from or be contradictory to that effort. You represent and warrant that you have no criminal background involving violence or sexual misconduct, and agree to notify BRB if there is any change to such status or if you are charged in a criminal matter of any kind prior to departing for the trip. You agree that, in the event there is any personal or behavioral issue involving you deemed by BRB to be potentially detrimental to its ministry, integrity or reputation, your participation in the trip may be immediately terminated.
3. MEDIA RELEASE. In exchange for the opportunity to participate in BRB’s missional trip, you give BRB, and those acting upon its authority, permission to use, publish, display, distribute, in any form of media whether now known or hereafter created, and for any purpose(s), video, photographs, likenesses, images, or audio or written interviews of every kind and nature in any way related to you obtained during the missional trip. You waive any right to inspect or approve the same. To make sure BRB can do those things without any restriction, you release BRB from all claims, liability, and other damages arising from its use of the media.
4. CONTACT INFORMATION. In addition to what is written above, you allow BRB to keep your personal details and contact information, both in the U.S.A. and in your country (if other than the U.S.A.) and to communicate with you about your participation and future ministry updates and opportunities from time to time. You also know that, if you later have a concern about how your image and/or story may be/is/are used, you can contact BRB and request a change, but you also realize that anything already released would be difficult or impossible to withdraw from circulation
