Missions, Cruise, and Disney Specialist
I've lost count of the times I've been tagged on Facebook for the quote: "I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list." That's so true for me! Traveling has always been one of my favorite things. I grew up as a pastor's/missionary (rural US church planting) kid primarily in the Midwest, and thanks to my parents I saw a lot of the US via family road trips and tent camping.
My first international trip was at age 16 when I went about as far away as possible, to Australia and Papua New Guinea, with a missions team. I have now been to nineteen countries on five continents, and been part of several domestic and international missions teams.
In addition to my work at Wilcox, I work part-time for my church where I now live in northeast Florida, and am an avid half-marathoner with the goal to finish one in every state and as many countries as I can! When I travel these days I usually bring my kids, which is a lot more work, but a lot of fun! (My husband loves to join us, but his work hours can be restrictive.) Our family's favorite type of relaxation vacation is cruising or going to an all-inclusive, but we're also Walt Disney World passholders (and former Universal Orlando Resort passholders), and we love to go see the world however we can!
