So you’re getting into the groove of being a greener, more conscientious person. You use recyclable bags and try to bicycle more than you drive. Good start. However, now you’re looking forward to vacation and probably wondering what you can possibly do to make your travel a little greener.
For starters you could ask your travel agent what eco-friendly tours are in the area. It’s unlikely that you can reach your destination without taking a car, plane or train. Nevertheless, always remember that one less car being driven is always a good thing. Plan to carpool if you have a group of people accompanying you. You might even consider not renting a car while vacationing and either paying a cab or tour bus or walking to nearby locations.
Isn’t it about time you got out of the house and out of the country for an exotic vacation? There is nothing quite like touring Europe, Asia or South America. The radically different culture and geological changes are something amazing to behold. It’s hard to pinpoint three exact locations that are more ultimately satisfying than all of your other options.
