You will have a qualified Tour Host as the leader of your group. The Host is the main contact for the group participants if any questions, decisions, or problems arise.

Each Tour Host represents Wilcox Travel and you as an advocate for the group.
Cultivate and Educate! While on the tour, you will have the perfect opportunity be educated and meet many others with similar interestes as you! Your own, personal Tour Hosts will be responsible for the details and formalities of the tour. Your Tour Host acts as a liaison between the local Tour Guides, excursions and outings for your group.

Tour Host determines the Best Interest of the Group and is responsible for making decisions in the best interest of the group.

Some Tips and Tricks
Do take a flight bag with you. There may be occasions (such as an overnight excursion) when you may prefer or be required to leave your large suitcase behind and take just your flight bag.
•    It is the law to have identification inside your luggage. It is a safeguard against lost luggage should outside tags be torn off, so tape a card inside with your name, address and Wilcox Travel group name.
•    Carry two sets of keys for your luggage--one with your regular keys and one in your hand luggage.
•    Remove all old baggage tags and labels.
•    Most suitcases look alike. Attach a special identifier to flag your suitcase, such as a piece of colored yarn or sticker.

HINTS FOR HASSLE-FREE SHOPPING

•    Before you leave, make a list of items you may want to purchase. Price those items at local stores. This will tell you when something is a bargain or not. This will also help you decide how much money to take.
•    Comparison shopping is important -- if you have time. If not, you may want to go ahead and make your purchase.
•    Ask for a clearly written receipt for anything you buy.
•    If the item is to be mailed or shipped, be very specific about how it is to be done -- and with or without insurance. If possible, take a copy of the shipping papers with you. It often takes six to ten months by overseas mail.
•    Beware of bargains that are “too good to be true” ... they generally are! If anyone offers you a $10 emerald or $20 genuine antique artifact from King Tut’s tomb, take your money and run, before they do!
